01/23/06 Grace and peace to each and every one of you! David is doing marvelously! The doctors and staff call his progress "amazing" since he went on dialysis. He is full of energy and vigor. He has been going through the house cleaning closets, reorganizing and generally having a ball. What a joy to see him so full of life. That day in December when we rushed him to the hospital and the doctors told me that he had hours to live, God said "NOT SO! HE WILL LIVE AND NOT DIE AND DECLARE THE WORKS OF THE LORD!" I spoke that word to him and over him and it has been our lifeline and stronghold ever since. He has also drastically decreased the insulin he has had to take. It is so wonderful. His color is good and he looks at least 10 years younger. His physical appearance has changed so much that a friend of ours didn't even recognize him right away! How great is our God and greatly to be praised!!! The Holy Spirit has told us out of 1 Samuel 30 that this year we are to pursue the enemy and we will surely overtake him and without fail recover all. We have both taken steps to change our eating habits and obey the Lord concerning what He would have us to do to recover our health and the results are astounding. Where I was always in such pain that it made me almost immobile (and in a wheelchair for a time), now I am using a walker and taking walks to strengthen the muscles in my back and legs. We are seeing the performance of God's Word in our lives and look for total, complete, absolute recovery and restoration of our health in 2006. Amen! Got to run because I am on the public computer at the library (where I walked to today), but wanted you to have this update. We so appreciate your continuing to stand with us. my heart 2 yours, Giovanna ![]() ![]() Kim Stewart May 17, 2004 On March 16, 2004, I received a phone call from a potential employer. I was informed that unless I could appear for an interview on that day, I would not be able to be considered for the job. Now, this would not have been a problem if it were not for the fact that my interview was scheduled for the following week, and that I had already reported to work on my current job. My response to the person on the other side of conversation was that it was not fair to expect me to come to an interview, unprepared, and do my best. I then told her that I would not be able to come. She encouraged me to come, and told me that good things come out of strange situations. So, I agreed to show up for the interview within the next few hours. I then called my "spiritual mother", who just happens to be a praying woman, and she told me that the Lord said that He would send favor before me, and that the job was mine. Well, two months went by, and I received no response to the interview. However, during that two-month period, the Lord would send me little trinkets of encouragement. People would send emails that told me to praise God in advance for the job, and they didn't even know that I had gone on the interview. So, in my spirit, I knew that God had already blessed me, but because so much time had elapsed, I had began to have a faith failure. Today, 05/17/04, I received a phone call that He is a faithful God! ![]() Karin Mosley May 5, 2004 Last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I was so afraid of my van being "repo"ed, that I cried, prayed, called for loans, tried to borrow money, everything. My husband kept telling me not to worry, not to worry, but you know how men can be. They don't care about things until they are gone. Thursday morning, HEY, HEY, Praise HIM. I felt a peace come over me, that if they took the van, I did not even care because I KNEW GOD had something for me. Friday morning, they called and asked me my address so they could come pick up the van, I said come get it, you have a job to do, and I have to let GOD do HIS job, Thank you Jesus, HEY, I feel like shouting all over again. The supervisor got on the phone and said, Mrs. Mosley, since you are two months behind, we will put March and April's payment on the back end. HEY, thank you Lord, and bring your account up to date and your next payment is not due until May 15th. Tell ME, my GOD is not GOOD!!!! Oh bless His name!!! ![]() Kim Stewart March 29, 2004 The other day, I went to the bank to make a deposit. Usually, I prepare my deposit ticket in advance so that I can just walk right up to the Commercial Transaction line, and make the deposit. However, this particular day, I had not completed the deposit slip in advance, and had to stand at one of the counters to complete the slip. While standing there, a young man came into the bank, and stood about 3 feet away from me. I paid him no extra attention, and continued to complete my bank forms. A minute or so later, I began to get a "strange sensation" in my right side. This caused me to notice that this young man was taking very small steps toward me, while continuing to look around the bank. My first thought was that I was being paranoid, but then the sensation got stronger, and I picked up all of my documents and moved near the door where a bank manager was standing. Then both of us looked at the young man. Soon, he left the bank and grabbed his bicycle --all the while looking back in the bank at us. I then mentioned to the manager that the young man was about to grab me, and she replied that she was aware of it, and had been watching him. Well, thanks be to my Lord and Savior that He cared enough about me to warn me, because while the bank manager "was watching", the Lord was literally "on my side"! Today, I am glad to say that I am alive because my Savior lives, and continually protects me. At times like this, I have learned to appreciate Proverbs 3:5-6. ![]() Felice Player March 19, 2004 On or about three years ago, my doctor had diagnosed me with Cervical Cancer (pre cancerous cells in my cervix). With this diagnosis I had to have two biopsies, (cut small pieces of tissue and send them to the lab for testing). Within the next two weeks I had to go back to the doctor again for the results of the biopsies that I had taken. The results stated that I had to have a Colposcopy, which is a test in which the doctor uses an in instrument called a Colposcope to look at the cervix with magnification. Within the next two weeks I was returning to the doctors again for these results, and because the first doctor did not remove what was necessary for him to remove, I had to have another procedure done which was called a Leep Procedure. During this procedure, the area was numbed and a special wire loop was used to remove the abnormal area. This procedure was very painless to me, and I endured to the end. The tissue that was removed was sent to the pathologist to make sure that all the dysplasia had been removed. This procedure was done by a Laser which is suppose to be very effective, but not as effective as MY GOD. At the time of this diagnosis, I was a member at United Pentecost Miracle Church where the Evangelists and Ministers began to pray for me, along with my family and my godmommy, Minister Sylvia Sewell. My sister, Deaconess Melissa Stewart, called me and told me that she had requested prayer for me, and asked that God would heal me of Cervical Cancer. She told me that her pastor, Pastor Dena wanted to know everything in detail (exactly what happened, what the doctor said, and when was the procedure going to take place). I compiled all the information that was given to me and I sent it to Pastor Dena. But, remember I was not attending her church at the time. I only visited on Family and Friends' Day. I asked my mother, "Who do you know that will go all out the way to really pray for someone who she really doesn’t know and is not a member of her church?" This really blew my mind because some people will pray for you on that particular day and wait to hear what happened through someone else. I had attended Haven of Rest, (Pastor Dena's church), one Sunday morning and Pastor Dena was doing what she does best--speaking in tongues and glorifying her GOD. She asked me to come up for prayer because God Wanted To Do Something Special for Me on This Day. When Pastor Dena prayed for me that day, I knew right then and there that I was HEALED. Usually in the beginning of the month, I would feel pain and it would cause me a little discomfort, but after that prayer, there was no more pain or discomfort. I went back to the doctor within the next six months and the Cervical Cancer was gone. The doctors could not believe it, so they wanted to test me again and the Cervical Cancer was gone. I can honestly say without a shadow of doubt that I KNOW THAT MY GOD IS A HEALER. Please pray much for me in Jesus' Name. ![]() ![]() ![]() Click here to submit your testimony.
